Rydges Wellington Airport Hotel - 170601

"Construction of Wellington Airport's new $36 million Rydges hotel is officially under way after a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday.

The four-star, 134-bedroom hotel, expected to open late next year, will be adjoined to the main terminal building and accessible directly from the passenger lounge.

It will include a restaurant, bar and conference facilities."

2017 Centreboard Champs

Greg competed this weekend in the Wellington Centreboard Champs at Heretaunga Boating Club. Uncharacteristically for Wellington, there was a serious shortage of wind, and as a result it was a lottery, however a few things went his way, and he ended up 2nd overall in the Papertiger class. Total number of all boats was 80 or so, what a great turnout!
