Urban Loft

Establishing a new retail experience for a client with a limited time frame and high expectations creates a rewarding challenge.

Situated within the historic Britomart development in Auckland, and one of the first retailers to be established in this area, the objective was to retain the historic nature of the old warehouse interior and create a visual experience that would allow the products to be displayed at their best.

By working with the original wooden floors, exposing the ceiling voids, brick walls and introducing new shop fittings with industrial detailing the space was transformed into a modern retail space. Complemented with the contemporary lighting the result is an exciting retail space able reflecting the elements of the past, while displaying the products of a modern retail store.
