N.I.W.A Extension

Resisting an obvious reference to the stark iconic Brutalism of the long standing N.I.W.A buildings, the Brodie Extension stands its own ground as an elegant extension with a distinct presence. The crisp gunmetal box orients itself out into the harbour, reorganising the dominant parallel arrangement of the existing building to the water. The new arrangement opens up the complex to new vistas both across and along the harbour and sets the extension apart from the existing giving it its own identity.
