Airport Retail Park

ArcHaus was invited in 2000 to produce an overall concept for the better utilisation of Wellington International Airport Limited's (WIAL) land holdings to the western side of the runway.

The proposal for the bulk retail facility needed to encompass their vacant land and reuse of the old "Woolworths" bulk store building. It also needed to be staged, so that existing tenancies and long term ground leases were taken into account.

The concept was developed in combination with; WIAL Development Staff, Urban Planners and BECA Consultants.
